Coronavirus Lampwork glass earrings COVID-19 virus covid
During all this time of confinement at home we have only received news about the coronavirus pandemic, from my country and from the rest of the world.
We've heard their sound and seen what they look like. So something so deadly and yet so beautiful seen under the microscope has inspired me to make these glass beads, which look like the coronavirus.

This unique beads are shaped in the torch flame using Italian Murano glass and then treated with acid that gives it this matte look.
All of my beads are carefully kiln annealed to reduce stress in the glass.
You have to know that the work is artisanal and each piece is unique, there are always small differences.
Also the color, it depends on the monitor and maybe you can find some variation. I attempt to make the pictures look as realistic as possible on my monitor, but it may not match yours.
